1982年毕业于西北师范大学生物系，获理学学士，1989年毕业于中科院昆明植物研究所植物化学专业，获理学硕士，2005年于华南农业大学获农药学专业博士学位。1989年至今在现单位工作，其中1993年10月至1994年4月在日本Suntory公司生物医学研究所从事合作研究。
